A leading Japanese manufacturer of Bearings and other mechanical components are currently recruiting a Sales Manager of Cutting Tools for their end users within the automotive and industrial sectors in South Germany and Austria.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of sales experience of similar products or a similar technical background.
TYPE: Permanent, full time
SALARY: €80k-€100K annually depending on experience (includes 13th month bonus)
START: Negotiable
LOCATION: Southern Germany (home-office, with occasional visits to the office near Stuttgart)
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
BENEFITS: 30 days annual leaves, company car
Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Sales of cutting tools in the main sales area of Southern Germany and Austria
- Support of existing and acquisition of new customers
- Providing professional advice and support to their customers in all technical and commercial matters relating to their product range
- Conducting competent sales negotiations as a contact person
- Active use of all available sales channels (in person, by telephone, social media, etc.)
- Practical demonstration of their tools to the customer as well as analysing the problem and finding solutions with the help of their tools
- Planning and organising customer visits, training courses, projects, and presentations
- Maintenance of visit reports in the CRM system
- Reporting to a General Manager of Cutting Tools
Sales Manager Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of Sales experience of cutting tools or similar products
- Technical background is advantageous
- A valid EU Driving licence is required
- Business level English and German language skills required
- PC skills (Microsoft office)
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- High willingness to travel, mainly in southern Germany and Austria
