Director Sales Banking’ (m/f/d).
Tasks
The Director of Sales, Banking will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration in the banking sector across Germany. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a high-performing sales team while building key client relationships at the executive level. Your focus will be on strategic account management, solution selling, and platform modernization, positioning the company’s products as indispensable to the digital transformation of banking institutions.
· Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of 7–8 account executives, solution specialists, and sales analysts. Lead by example in sales strategy execution, coaching, and team development.
· Strategic Sales: Design and implement robust sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
· Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, offering insights and guidance on platform modernization and industry best practices. Build long-term relationships with C-level executives.
· Business Development: Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with prospective clients. Drive strategic partnerships within the banking sector.
· Sales Execution: Oversee complex deal negotiations, ensuring timely closing of sales while resolving any client challenges proactively.
· Customer Satisfaction: Champion client success by delivering exceptional service and support, driving customer retention and satisfaction in the banking sector.
Requirements
* Educational Background: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
* Banking Expertise: Proven experience and deep knowledge of the banking sector, including an understanding of regulatory requirements, operational challenges, and customer needs.
* Enterprise Software Sales: Extensive experience in selling enterprise software solutions, with a track record of leading successful sales teams in fast-paced environments.
* Leadership & Team Development: Strong leadership skills with experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performance sales teams.
* Adaptability & Initiative: A hands-on, proactive leader who excels in dynamic environments. Capable of driving initiatives without waiting for formal directives.
* Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust with both clients and team members.
