DuPont is looking for a motivated and self-driven Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) for Tedlar® sales organization in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This role is an individual contributor calling on customers, both new and existing, to sell or enhance our entire portfolio.
While primary focus is in Building & Construction industry, growth opportunities exist in a diverse portfolio of market segments, ranging from aerospace to automotive and consumer products to electronics. You will be tasked to defend current market share but more importantly to aggressively grow the business through customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
1. Understand customer’s needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the application development and sales operations teams to provide competitive solutions for our customers.
2. Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects which will provide short, medium and long-term success.
3. Build and manage relationships along complex value chains and segments.
4. Gain access to new businesses and customers through participation in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
5. Constantly evaluate sales results, new business opportunities and trends.
6. Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
7. Manage and strengthen relationships at all levels of the customer organization.
8. Provide timely forecasts of sales and orders booking.
9. Negotiate pricing and terms.
10. Contribute to overall Customer Satisfaction through provision of feedback & assurance of clear and consistent communication between the customer and business leadership.
11. The candidate will report to Global VP of Sales & Marketing who is located in the US.
Job Qualifications
12. 5+ years sales experience
13. Bachelor’s degree
14. Business fluency in German and English are required.
15. Self-starter, independent achiever, highly motivated personality is a must.
16. Strong ability to build customer relationships is essential.
17. Excellent communication & presentation skills, good negotiation skills are key.
18. Experience with protective film products especially in Building & Construction industry (coatings and/or metal panels) would be ideal but not a must have.
19. This position requires up to 70% travel
20. Location preference: Germany, Austria
