JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Digital Strategist will be working hand-in-hand with all areas of the business, including the client service team and the experience and engineering team. As an integrated digital agency, our agency services span wide and far. Hence, it’s essential the Senior Digital Strategist has experience with digital experience strategy (product strategy, design and tech strategy, innovation). Ideally also having an interest in the wider range of strategic disciplines, from brand- and business strategy to marketing strategy. The strategy team consists of an eclectic mix of strategists, all with deeply rooted specialisms in the digital experience and engineering, research and innovation space. The Senior Digital Strategist will lead client accounts into their digital future, creating routes for platforms, digital products and experience touchpoints as part of the ever-evolving digital ecosystem - ensuring value is created by cross-functional teams for both users and businesses.
The Senior Digital Strategist will be expected to deliver:
1. Innovation: instill market-leading innovations into a digital experience strategy that our clients couldn’t get anywhere else
2. Provoke: inspire the team to design and deliver big & bold ideas with impact, all aimed to deliver on our client’s business challenges or ambitions.
3. Building and maintaining trusted client relationships: listening with empathy to understand clients’ challenges, ideas or ambitions and formulate opportunities and processes from it. In this, utilising advanced thinking and approaches to deliver improvements on ROI for any type of business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
4. Lead- and guide a wide range of strategic disciplines; from digital experience strategy to product innovation to tech and data strategy
5. Perform strategic research into qualitative user-/customer needs, cultural consumer trends, category & market potentials, as well as macro developments
6. Innovate our offering by working closely with tech, experience design and data to ensure we are delivering market-leading strategic approaches to our clients;
7. Coordinate with marketing disciplines on a 360° perspective on digital strategy: co-sketching the future of branding, social strategy, creative comms, media and marketing strategy together
8. Upping the benchmark of the work and ensuring we are leading the industry by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible (i.e. with AI, automation, data) while delivering incremental improvements on ROI;
9. Lead and participate in new business pitches; locally and globally.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
10. Relevant experience within a strategy-focused role in an agency or consultancy setting
11. Fluency in both German and English
12. A solid understanding & experience within digital experience and engineering
13. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex subjects simply
14. Passionate about researching and reimagining the future of digital experience through a thoughtful blend of user insights, emerging market trends & technological innovations.
15. Ability to work with senior clients on key strategy projects and comfortable presenting to senior-level audiences
16. Very efficient, producing significant output with minimal wasted effort
17. Comfortable planning and facilitating workshops with clients, based on a proven but flexible methodological tool set
18. Ideally experienced with design thinking methodologies
19. Demonstrates strong focus and efficiency and can get stuff done while meeting tight deadlines
