Task Responsibilities:
The Manager CIO Office will play an important role in supporting the CIO by overseeing the administrative governance of the IT department. This position involves close collaboration with various internal teams to ensure effective governance, strategic planning & budgeting, and structured reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting, coupled with expertise in project management and IT, to drive the department’s success.
* Support structure in the IT department, through the introduction of processes and procedures
* Ensure governance that is related to IT is being adhered to
* Support the development of the IT Strategy, which presents key initiatives and IT involvement throughout the year
* Collaborate closely with Corporate Strategy, Innovation and Finance (i.e. Portfolio Management, Budget Management)
* Maintain IT projects dashboard in order to present monthly results in transparency and to balance business expectations versus IT capabilities
* Provide IT activity reports with KPI’s (e.g. 3 months and afterwards) on the IT Service Management
* Together with CFO, and CIO create the IT budget, its revisions and obtain the respective acceptance
* Prepare and provide financial reports for the CFO on the IT Budget spending, cash flow forecast, etc.
* Manage contracts for IT services in line with the respective policies and standards
* Revise and adjust the way of working / compliance to IT processes and propose corrective actions
* Support the CIO in external audit activities that are related to IT topics
Essential Requirements For The Position:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role with exposure to finance, accounting, procurement, audit, and legal areas.
* Experience in managing IT projects, contracts for IT services, and balancing business expectations with IT capabilities.
* Experience with SAP FI/CO would be a strong asset.
* Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Fluency in English is a must, any other language is considered an advantage.
Working Conditions:
* Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
