What you will do?
In your role you will be managing and optimizing the procurement process for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) supplies and IT materials to support the organization's operational needs. Therefore you will:
* Identify and Assess Needs by collaborating with your interface departments to forecast and determine procurement needs. To do so you will perform the supplier management by identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and service requirements.
* Perform the Order Placement and Follow-up: Place orders with selected suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, manage order tracking, addressing delays, quality issues and other discrepancies.
* Support the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers within the Supplier Lifecycle Process, maintaining compliance with company standards.
* Assist in tracking and evaluating supplier performance through regular reviews based on quality, cost, and timeliness.
* Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence in multiple languages.
What about you?
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field, alternatively completed training with first proven experience in Procurement.
* Accuracy and thoroughness in managing orders, contracts, and procurement documentation as well as strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms, cost reductions, and strategic advantages with suppliers.
* Proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions, particularly in supplier relations and delivery management.
* Proficiency in English, German and French (written and spoken) is essential for an effective communication with diverse suppliers.
