Tasks & responsibilities as a Senior Scientist - In your new role, you scout for, develop, and implement innovative formulation approaches for new chemical entities from Boehringer Ingelheim's research portfolio to support high quality preclinical studies. - In addition, you will assess physicochemical and solid-state properties of new chemical entities. - In international and interdisciplinary research project teams, you will represent all CMC related topics, provide CMC specific scientific guidance to the team and actively contribute to the characterization and selection of clinical development candidates. - Furthermore, you will work in close collaboration with colleagues in CMC development functions to assure a seamless transfer of clinical candidates from research to development. - The coordination and establishment of contacts to relevant academic groups and external partners to engage with new technologies and drive innovations in the field will be also a part of your responsibility. Requirements - Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline with professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry; PhD degree is preferable - Several years of relevant experience in preclinical formulation development and physicochemical characterization of new chemical entities - State of the art knowledge in developing pharmaceutical formulations for preclinical studies and analytical technologies - Excellent overview of scientific literature and already established scientific network - Ability to think strategically and organize work in a goal-oriented way - Teamplayer with strong communication skills - Excellent communication skills in German and English Ready to contact us?
