Intern Finance & Business Services (f/m/d)
About this role
As an Intern in Finance & Business Services, you will become an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to our month-end close activities and supporting the smooth operation of financial reporting and analysis. You will have the opportunity to sharpen your skills by preparing reports, tracking budgets, and assisting in financial data preparation for strategic decision-making. This role is fundamental in maintaining the integrity of our financial processes, and you will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to make informed business decisions and optimize our financial operations, positioning you at the heart of our financial framework.
What you will do
Financial reporting and analysis
* Assists in preparing simple reports using predefined templates, to enable month end controls.
* Flags and corrects basic errors related to Purchase Orders, in coordination with the finance team.
* Assists with Budget tracking
o Update and maintain spreadsheets with financial data as instructed by the team.
o Help to organize budget-related documents for internal use and reporting.
* Prepares Financial Data for reporting
o Creates simple summaries of financial data with Excel to support analysis and decision-making.
o Assists in updating financial dashboards or presentations, refresh and maintain these information.
* Supports Ad Hoc Finance projects
o Conducts basic research on financial topics as assigned.
o Assists in small projects, such as improving finance processes or design better way to process.
o Works with different teams to gather and organize financial information, needs or requirements.
Logistics Daily Business and Projects
* Preparation of product return documents. Assists in order approval processes. Assists in monitoring OTC processes at the 3PL.
* Assists with logistics relevant controls within the SOX controls.
* Assists in gathering information and preparing reports and/or presentations in relation with logistic projects.
Other projects and request to support the ongoing business. Opportunity also in Purchasing process and querries.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* First demonstrable practical experience and successes would be an asset.
* Basic understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and accounting principles.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office Suite applications.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with financial software or databases.
* Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative on projects.
