About the Role As the first point of contact, you’ll ensure that every visitor and enquiry is handled with professionalism and care. You'll manage a range of administrative tasks, from maintaining a tidy reception area to managing databases and supporting the operational needs of the campus. What You'll Do: • Provide a warm, courteous welcome to all visitors, ensuring they are directed to the right area or department. • Manage databases and information systems to keep everyone up to date. • Oversee the management of our DVD and book library. • Maintain a neat and presentable reception area. • Handle daily mail and courier deliveries, ensuring they reach the correct recipient in a timely manner. • Assist with general administration tasks to support smooth campus operations. • Use timetabling software to book rooms and monitor student attendance. • Log visitors and contractors into the system, maintaining building security and ensuring the campus is secure at the close of business. • Support campus operations, including room checks, coordinating maintenance and cleaning requests, and organising repair work as needed. What You'll Bring: • Previous experience in a customer service or educational environment. • Strong office administration skills and proficiency in MS Office. • Fluent in both German and English. • A proactive, flexible approach to work with a professional attitude. • While not essential, Experience with technical (AV) support and First Aid or Fire Warden qualifications would be advantageous. Expected working hours: 7.5- 15 per week. Monday to Friday, evenings may be required. This contract is until August 2025, however there is the possibility of it continuing beyond this.
