The Opportunity Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Buyer to join our Inclusive Collection Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the negotiations with suppliers for selected categories of Food & Beverage?for the resorts, adhering to the Corporate Standards. You will also handle the preparation, analysis, presentation and execution of different?comparison charts to the corporate purchasing management, foreseeing the compliance of the negotiations at property level.? The Role Essential Functions: Identify opportunity areas to negotiate based on the annual spending of the hotels in the different regions. Prepare bidding schedule, according to the assigned categories. Execute bidding process for every assigned category, establish commercial and technical conditions, invite suppliers to participate, receive proposals, make comparison charts and assign the supplier. Revise the compliance of the negotiations at property level, follow up on doubts and give service to the properties. Update corporate supplier catalogue. Give maintenance to the Central Catalogue. Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned by a manager. Overview contract signature with selected suppliers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in administrative areas, tourism, or international trade. 2 years in corporate position or 4 years as purchasing manager at hotel level. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficient in English, with at least 70% ability to engage in business conversations. Basic knowledge of International Trade. Advanced Negotiation Skills. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time across various regions to revise and execute corporate negotiations with HIC-operated hotels.
