This position is contingent upon contract award Amentum is seeking a Senior Facilities Systems Technician (HVAC) to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously. Essential Duties: - Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs. - Specific experience in fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategicenvironmental systems and their sophisticated electronic support systems. - Ability to plan, install, troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems not fully covered by technical manuals, schematics, etc. - Handle HVAC control and monitoring systems and their components. - Able to utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Able to design, installation and sustainment of computer controlled environmental systems in mobile secure facilities. - Able to meet US Government accepted and industry standards criteria for technically complex computer environmental systems, uninterrupted power distribution systems and power control equipment. Minimum Requirements: - Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph. - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and EPA 608 Type II (HVAC) certification plus three years of recent specialized experience; or Associate degree from an accredited college or university plus seven-years of relevant experience in HVAC with EPA 608 Type II (HVAC) certification; orAdvanced HVAC training with EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification and at least seven years of relevant experience.
