Hauptaufgaben Serves as Program Assistant performing the following duties in the Transportation Motor Pool Drivers Training Testing Station (DTTS), Transportation Division. Interprets and enforces policies and procedures for the Driver Testing Program. As the administrator Program Assistant will interpret and enforce policies and procedures for the Driver Testing Program within the Wiesbaden community AOR. of the drivers' license program, is appointed as the Issuing Official in accordance with (IAW) AR 600-55. Position incumbent will perform all aspects of drivers testing functions to include eye test, reflex testing, briefing local rules, regulations; briefing all ranks of military and civilian customers on NTV, Government vehicle required local peculiarities and dispatch procedures; what to do in case of an accident; etc. Prepares, obtains authentication and issues OF 346, Vehicle Operators Permit and maintains DA 348, Official Driving Record for all military NTV licenses responsible for. Maintains security of accountable/sensitive forms and equipment. Makes periodic inventories of all accountable forms. Prepares, obtains authentication, renews, and recommends revoking of licenses. Maintains permits issued. Maintains ledger of permit for issuing of licenses and revoked licenses with suspense for re-issue. Provides advice and assistance to customers on qualifications and procedures for taking tests. Requisitions, secures, issues, and scores test material. Orders forms and training materials. Prepares and controls use of testing devices, equipment and test routines. Conducts Accident Avoidance training classes as required per AR 600-55. Develops, plans, and coordinates training. Requisitions, secures, and stores training material. Post class schedules in advance of training. Keeps required records of training, testing, and licensing. Compiles statistical data for records. Maintains records and files for reference purposes IAW established filing procedures. Keeps record books on all outgoing mail; licenses and supporting documents. Keeps several administrative files for reference purposes. Notes AND posts, changes, additions and deletions to maintain regularity material current. Prepares recurring and special reports on organization's activities, forwards reports to proper destruction. Keeps updated signature cards. Assists in establishing and coordinating training requirements and organizing drivers testing training sessions such as Drivers improvement Program Remedial divers Training and Seasonal Training. Prepares and types a variety of material such as endorsements, letters, reports, memorandums etc. on basis of rough drafts, verbal instructions, with responsibility for format, spelling, punctuation, arrangement, spacing and assembling of supporting material and information from activity's record and files. Assembles outgoing correspondence, insuring presence of prescribed enclosures and annotation of proper distribution. Oversees and administers standards for accurate reporting of fleet management utilization and operation. Assists with motor vehicle accident reporting and maintains records that support this data. Performs a variety of administrative and technical services designed to provide support to the operation. Coordinates vehicle Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) Program requirements with the Motor Transport Specialist. Coordinates FLIPL actions with investigating officers ensuring vehicle documentation and accident report information are provided assisting in timely investigations in accordance with applicable regulations. Maintains proper liaison and relationship with and coordinates licensing of POV drivers and general policy matters through Provost Marshal activities and prepares and certifies documents supporting requests for Military licenses and maintains "Operator's Qualification Record. Maintains up-to-date functional instructor' s manual and ensures appropriate application of training support devices such as projectors, VHS equipment, flip charts, film strips, instructor's manuals, etc. Coordinates and provides assistance to Community agencies for audio/video aid (setting up overhead projector, operating video/slide projector, etc.). Translates from English to German and visa-versa, a variety of general subject matter, such as identification data, documents and other pertinent correspondence. Performs other duties as assigned.
