The ITSupport Technician is responsible for being the first point ofcontact and support for the entire IT organization, the Technicianmust be able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.Primary duties of the technician include assessing incidents andrequests and resolving issues when possible as well as assistingwith more complex technical issues. The Analyst also participatesin other desktop system work such as configuring and deploying newsystems, maintaining existing hardware and software and assistingin employee moves. The position is responsible to recommend anddevelop procedures and standards that improve the quality anddelivery of service to customers.
This positionreports to the IT Service Manager, EMEA and is part of the ITOperations located in Germany and will be anon-site role.

Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto:
* Manageand resolve customer issues by handling incoming tickets andconducting technical research.
* Perform localand remote troubleshooting sessions to identify and implementsolutions.
* Create, monitor, and follow up onSupport Requests viaServiceNow.
Theessential requirements of the jobinclude:
* 3 years of relevantexperience in IT support, client technologies, or desktopmanagement, or equivalent experience with a relateddegree.
* Strong technical expertisein end-user systems (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office365)
Demonstrated experience inproviding end-user support, including resolving escalatedtechnical issues and improving supportprocesses.
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/EnvironmentRequirements: if applicable forrole
* Ability totravel – no more than 25% withinRegion
* Ability to lift, move or carryequipment up to70lb
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:
* Familiarity with ITIL orsimilar frameworks for incident, problem, and changemanagement
* Strong organizational andtime-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks andmanage competingpriorities.
