On behalf of our client, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies focused on safeguarding individuals from cardiovascular diseases and pioneering innovative cancer treatments, we are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Project Engineering Lead (m / f / d) for their development and production site in Upper Bavaria. As part of the expansion efforts at the site, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Engineering Lead.
Your expertise in biotechnology, aseptic production, or the pharmaceutical sector will be crucial in successfully managing both Greenfield and Brownfield projects, each valued at multimillion levels.
Responsibilities :
* Overseeing processes and team coordination throughout the entire lifecycle of CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical sector (biotechnology, aseptic filling, and solid production), from the conceptual phase to commissioning.
* Co-managing cost control, resource allocation, target achievement, and schedule adherence within projects.
* Continuously tracking and documenting all overarching project activities.
* Facilitating internal and external approval procedures.
* Assisting in the creation of requirement documents for the planning and design of plants and utilities.
* Managing interfaces among various trades, such as process, TGA, electrical, and construction, and resolving target conflicts.
* Identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to mitigate them.
* Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, occupational safety, environmental, and energy efficiency aspects.
* Skillfully handling contracts and supplementary negotiations within claim management frameworks.
Requirements :
* A completed technical degree in engineering, project management, or a similar field.
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, project management, and executing CAPEX projects in a regulated environment, preferably with a background in biotechnology or aseptic production.
* Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners on complex, high-volume technical projects.
* Proficiency in handling HOAI, contract design, and claim management.
* Strong knowledge of GMP, including regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Project management certification according to IPMA or PMI is desirable.
* Structured working style, team management, excellent communication skills, and leadership abilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, resilience, and assertiveness.
* Proficiency in German and English.
