How to contribute to our vision
For our Business Unit Service, we are looking for a Service Technician (f/m/x) for Troubleshooting and Maintenance activities.
These are your main functions:
1. You will start as a Troubleshooter on D7-7,0 and D8-8,8 in preparation to move on to SG10-10,0 / SG10-11,0 thereafter
2. Status and risk reporting to all relevant stakeholders
3. Perform scheduled service (500-Hrs, Annual, etc.) procedures on offshore wind turbines without supervision
4. Identify and troubleshot common, re occurring and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the offshore turbine where duly trained/certified
5. Provide on-job qualification training, evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them
6. Perform unscheduled maintenance jobs
7. Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site with competent individuals
8. Lead small teams; Accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians and Contractors assigned to them for maintenance and troubleshooting activities
9. Keep records, maintain documentation and report technical, safety issues and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office
10. Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy
11. Participation in call arrangements for remote assistance
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
12. You are presently working as a Troubleshooter or you have a proven track record of stable experience as such
13. You gained a sound working experience within the wind-industry; in the best case in the offshore
environment covering all aspects of the commissioning phase and service activities
14. You have experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance works on DD platform
15. You are willing and able to work offshore in shift patterns
16. You are willing to take Helicopter training and be willing to fly to WTGs if not already
17. You have the ability to manage administrative tasks in a structural and self-dependent manner
18. You like to work in multinational teams by bringing strong intercultural skills along
19. You are able to communicate (speaking and writing) in English
