The IAM Solution Architect will contribute to a key project within a larger program aimed at defining a long-term strategy for human identity management, with an immediate focus on external user management. The role involves conducting a study to MAP the current state, evaluate future solutions, and propose a comprehensive roadmap for modernizing user identity management processes and technologies. You will collaborate with enterprise architects, IT architects, and subject matter experts to deliver a high-quality, timely strategy. Past experience in public or financial sectors will be highly valued, and familiarity with the organization's ecosystem is considered a strong advantage. Key responsibilities As-is Analysis: MAP the current situation, including user journeys and existing solutions for identification, authentication, and federation. Future Solution Definition: Analyze and compare technology options to define the target solution (architecture, principles, technologies, and user journeys). Roadmap Creation: Develop a step-by-step plan to transition from the current state to the target architecture, identifying key initiatives and deliverables. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely under the supervision of the Enterprise Architect, ensuring alignment within a well-functioning team. Facilitate cooperation and deliverables in a multi-stakeholder environment. Practical Implementation: Realize detailed practical outcomes for the program and contribute significantly to project deliverables. Requirements Technical skills: Solution Architecture: Basic-level experience designing scalable and secure IT architectures. IAM Expertise: Foundational understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and solutions. BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation): Experience in visualizing and documenting workflows. Technology Road Mapping: Ability to draft structured plans for technology evolution. TCO Calculation: Familiarity with calculating Total Cost of Ownership for proposed solutions. Preferred experience: Knowledge of identity federation, authentication mechanisms, and modernized user journeys. Background in public or financial sectors. Past collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in similar domains. Languages: Proficiency in English (mandatory). Fluency in Dutch or French (native or bilingual proficiency required).
