Let's win together As a Junior Finance Manager (f/m/d), you will primarily oversee Accounts Payable & Receivable, support monthly closing activities, actively participate in budget and forecast processes, and handle parts of payroll. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to help us develop and optimize our financial structures, ultimately playing a significant role in the success of our finance department. Your Role with us Accounts Payable & Receivable You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including invoice verification and posting, with attention to cost and performance accounting as well as release processes. Month-End Closing & Reporting You will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, assist with external audits, and collaborate on internal reviews. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility for these closing processes. Budgeting & Forecasting You will gather and analyze relevant financial data, actively contribute to creating and monitoring budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to support decision-making. Payroll Support Working closely with our external payroll service provider and internal People Team, you will help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, serving as a key contact for payroll-related inquiries. Process Optimization You will identify opportunities to improve our financial processes and collaborate with the team to implement changes, aiming to continuously enhance efficiency and quality in our finance operations. What you bring to the table Education & Experience Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable commercial qualification. Initial professional experience in Finance and Accounting (e.g., through internships or working student roles in a fast-growing startup) or relevant vocational training. Professional Skills Familiarity with Accounts Payable and Receivable; ideally some exposure to month-end closing activities. Proficiency in common accounting software (e.g., DATEV) and strong Excel skills. Basic knowledge of payroll processes and a good grasp of German accounting standards (HGB). Work Style & Soft Skills Analytical mindset with an eye for detail. Structured, independent work approach and a strong hands-on mentality. Team player with excellent communication skills—even when working with non-finance stakeholders. Language Skills Very good written and spoken German and English.
