Our German Business Unit, CAMCO®, is looking to expand its team by recruiting a Head of Methods. CAMCO is a world leader in electronics for the professional sound industry developing amplified controller technology. Due to our continuous growth, this position was created to promote our strong objectives. Main responsibilities: You will be responsible for a team of Methods Engineers and technicians to define, implement and qualify manufacturing processes, ensuring production capability (repeatability and reproducibility) and enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role combines expertise in process design, qualification and production operation improvements. The Head of Methods will be attached to the Director of Industrial Operations and collaborate from a matrix perspective with the Director of Operational Excellence. Team Leadership: lead, develop and improve Methods team performance, skills and potential. Product support Implement rigorous quality control procedures and test benches optimization to ensure each electronics meets performance and reliability standards. Propose design update of product in serial life to improve production efficiency or product reliability Ensure assembly processes, designing, and developing new manufacturing methods and procedures, and being responsible for their successful implementation. Train operators and technicians on best manufacturing practices and new technologies. Innovation - Smart Factory Encourage innovation in production methods and technologies used. Implement new factory capacities including automation to improve quality and reduce repetitive tasks Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to enhance processes, products, or services by Identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implementing changes to optimize performance and quality. Monitoring results to ensure improvements are effective. Encouraging a culture of ongoing development and innovation. Method Management System Participate to the digitalization of the industry, including The integration of the new ERP system The implementation of KPI using PowerBI Product data integrity checks MES implementation Industry 4.0 new technologies What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or technical fields (mechanics, Electronics, robotics, fluidics…). Minimum 10 years or experience in process Engineering, manufacturing methods or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience in a leadership role. Proven experience in defining and implementing processes on technical project that includes mechanics, electronics and/or fluidics specificities Location: Wenden, Germany and Olpe, Germany.
