In the Production Engineering division of truck production, we develop innovative concepts for the future of MAN. You can actively work on the design and implementation of new systems to cope with complexity, conduct data analysis and model development to identify potentials and shape the introduction of defined AI-supported solutions. This research project is a cooperation project with the University of Stuttgart, in which the employee is also employed as a research assistant, with the possibility of a doctorate.

Your Tasks
* Data analysis and model development: Identify potential for the use of AI in production and logistics
* System linking: Identify dependencies and data paths and link them sensibly in order to master the overall "production" system
* Conduct studies: Conduct cross-system and cross-departmental studies to extend the usefulness of existing data
* Data management: Continuously capture, process, and visualize data
* Exploratory analysis: Systematically analyze previously unused and possibly missing information
* Model development: Merge data into trainable description models
* Develop decision aids: Design and develop decision aids based on various scenarios
* Validate results: Validate the prediction results
* Organize workshops: Prepare and conduct workshops with experts and prepare the results to identify potential
* Project management: Plan, coordinate and execute your projects in close cooperation with the department and the University of Stuttgart
Your qualifications
* Successfully completed university studies (Master's/Diploma) in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or computer science
* Analytical thinking skills, a structured way of working and problem-solving skills
* Enjoyment of responsible and independent work
* Hands-on experience in the application of machine learning algorithms, including the implementation and optimization of models
* Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R or Java, which are often used in the development of AI models
* Strong motivation for scientific and independent work
* High communication and teamwork skills as well as reliability
* Very good knowledge of German and English
