Infineon Technologies is seeking an experienced and visionary Director - Head of Global Service Design for HR to lead our international team and drive innovation in our service delivery processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR, capable of harmonizing processes and conducting design-thinking workshops. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder management, process optimization, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with the needs of both customers and HR.
In your new role you will:
1. Team Management: Lead, manage, and coach a diverse and international team of experts at different locations from Europe to Asia.
2. Strategic Vision: Provide strategic direction to the Global Service Design team, aligning with organizational goals and HR Digital strategy.
3. Cultural Sensitivity: Experienced in leading and guiding employees with diverse cultural backgrounds from Europe to Asia.
4. Visionary Thinking: Balance visionary thinking with detailed HR process insights, bridging opposite positions and finding diplomatic solutions.
5. Design Thinking Workshops: Coach the team to plan, conduct, and follow up on design-thinking workshops aimed at redesigning processes, involving HR stakeholders and their "customers" across different countries.
6. Iteration: Lead iterative refinement of process prototypes based on stakeholder feedback until a final, end-to-end solution is ready.
7. End-to-End View: Emphasize end-to-end consideration of processes within the HR Service Center to meet both customer and HR requirements.
8. Collaboration: Work closely from upfront with the Head of MyHR, HR Platforms, HR Digital Team, People Services Hubs and IT.
9. Harmonization: Focus on harmonizing and streamlining HR processes across different locations and disciplines, ensuring customer centricity and intuitive processes.
10. Design Principles: Adhere to design principles from the HR Digital Strategy, focusing on Customer Centricity, Automation and Scalability.
11. Role Clarity: Continue to further detail roles and responsibilities within the team.
12. Assessment: Continuously assess and improve HR service delivery models to meet evolving business needs.
13. Feedback Loop: Maintain a continuous feedback loop with stakeholders to drive improvements.
14. Benchmarking: Stay informed about industry trends and benchmarks, applying insights to enhance HR service design.
15. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR business partners, IT and external vendors.
16. Communication: Support effective communication to customers in close alignment with the MyHR Head.
17. Expectation Management: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment and support for service design projects.

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
1. A degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; candidates from non-HR backgrounds with relevant experience are also considered.
2. At least 8 years of experience in HR service design, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
3. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams in different cultural mindsets.
4. Strong expertise in design thinking and user-centric approaches.
5. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, HR stakeholders, and employees at all levels.
6. Highly structured with strong self-management skills, deeply understanding HR sensitivities.
7. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
8. Strong problem-solving skills are also required to identify pain points and design effective solutions.
9. Capable of designing end-to-end solutions, considering both customer and HR benefits.
10. Familiarity with HR practices, processes, and challenges throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
11. Fluent English language skills – German would be beneficial.
