This position is part of the EMEA Workflow team will be fully remote; the role will require travel across DACH up to 50% of the time, to visit and work closely with the DACH Customers helping them to realise their goals. There may also be occasional trips across EMEA, for internal and/or customer meetings. This role will involve on-site customer visits, assessing current workflow state, understanding future state requirements, conducting workflow analysis, identifying risks to objectives and providing workflow improvement recommendation report-outs in writing and in person, based on our product portfolio. You will be reporting to the EMEA Workflow Manager, responsible for leading the ongoing development of new workflow strategies and to drive workflow as a competitive advantage, supporting our internal and external customers. Peers include EMEA Workflow Consultants, Applications Consultants, Account and Regional Sales Managers whose collaboration will be vital in determining the appropriate workflow recommendations for our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Collaborate and establish trusted relationships with the DACH Sales Organization to better understand their priorities and look for opportunities to support them with workflow expertise. - Work closely with customers in their environment, conducting current state assessments and hold discussions with them about their Future dream state requirements. - Learn and deploy workflow analysis tools, techniques, processes and material to help support improvement recommendations. - Learn and follow team standard work and support in its continued development. - Deploy written methods and frameworks for identifying & documenting opportunities for workflow improvement, focusing on critical few success factors related to customer goals and objectives. - Write and present detailed recommendations to bridge the gap between the customers current state and future/dream state based on driving the overall value proposition and Leica Biosystems workflow competitive advantage - demonstrating how and to what extent Leica Biosystems total solution (workflow profile of instrumentation including workflow improvement advice) can help the customer achieve their goals and objectives. The essential requirements of the job include: - Degree in Science e.g., Biology, Biomedical Sciences, is preferred. - Healthcare Background - 5 years' experience in a Biomedical environment, as a Biomedical Scientist with a detailed understanding of the Histopathology workflow and with a proven track record of driving process improvements. - Excellent written skills: well-structured report writing, underpinned by meticulous planning, comprehensively communicated with a balance of detail and concise use of language. - Technical Excellence - Must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible by peers and managers inside healthcare facilities. Balancing a clear understanding of the histopathology instruments and their contribution to the workflow. - Manage complexity and sense of urgency: Uses rigor in analysis to synthesize perspectives/data from multiple sources to reach a holistic viewpoint. Ability to push high priority projects through in a fast-paced environment - Native or near-native in German language, fluent in English language It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Process Management - Demonstrating proficiency applying lean principles in a variety of situations. Understanding how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow. Knows what to measure and how to measure it. - Advanced computer skills for floor plan mapping in CAD, 2D and 3D design in addition to workflow analytical tools.
