Our client is an innovative company in the logistics industry that specializes in tailor-made solutions for our customers. We are looking for a committed Head of Sales (m/f/d) to drive our growth and identify new business opportunities.
Tasks:
1. Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and trends in the logistics industry.
2. Developing and implementing business strategies to open up new markets and customer segments.
3. Identifying, approaching and acquiring potential new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships.
4. Establishing and maintaining contacts with decision-makers in the industry, attending trade fairs, conferences and networking events.
5. Creating and presenting tailor-made offers and solutions for customers.
6. Working closely with the sales, marketing and operations departments to optimally meet customer needs.
7. Regular preparation of reports on sales activities, market trends and customer feedback for management.
Requirements:
1. Completed studies in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, project management or in a similar position, ideally in the logistics industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of the logistics and transport industry and the relevant market trends.
4. Excellent customer acquisition and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to analyze market and sales data to identify business opportunities.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English.
7. Willingness to travel to visit customers on site and build business relationships.
