Job Description
* Define a holistic annual category strategy across key commercial dimensions to steer the category business.
* Work with respective Country/Cluster Head to tie category strategy into the broader country/ cluster plan for the year (incl. Budgeting, LE Forecasting, and Promo Planning).
* Collaborate with key central teams/ departments (e.g., VM, Marketing, CRM) to influence strategies and actions through local market category input.
* Obtain deep understanding of category dynamics (Customers, Market, Competitors), identifying growth opportunities and blockers.
* Continuously analyze main business KPIs across Sales/Category/Customer/Product dimensions and plan correcting actions.
* Recommends adjustments and exceptions of local prices on brand/product level, from defined global pricing strategy.
* Create a full-year promo plan accounting for category dynamics and relevancy, and align actions with central promotion team (complementary to global central campaign calendar) and Country/ Cluster Head.
* Actively monitor campaign/ promo performance and track budget spend vs. local plan.
* Run topical/brand/product promotions on short notice depending on business need.
* Contribute to the business strategy and requirements for product sorting in PLP and search results, in coordination with the rest of Category Managers (through SME)
* Contribute to the business strategy and requirements for Up-selling and Cross-selling through the product recommendation boxes, in coordination with the rest of Category Managers (through SME)
* Collaboration with Graphics and Shop OPS teams for category-related banners.
* Provide inputs for a continuous QA process to Shop Operations and signs-off (if needed) any adjustment in the category content.
Please note the contract duration would be approximately of 15 months.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience in a similar FMCG / e-Commerce environment, ideally within pet sector
* Strong commercial and technical skills, with deep understanding of the different core business functions and how they work together
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the proven ability to influence at all business levels
* Ability to understand customer needs and market requirements as well as intuitive feeling for brands and trends
* Proficieny in English and Native level of Czech language
* Hard working, with a hands-on, results-focused approach
* High analytical and numerical competency
