Peraton requires Asset Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at Stuttgart, Germany (SOCAF) and requires TESA approval. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Provides asset management services and inventory control analysis to maintain consistent accountability of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) assets supporting the SIE. The Asset Manager documents and coordinates shipping and receiving of ADPE assets, accountability of inventory, short term storage facilities of computer/communications-related assets, and distribution of hardware, as directed by the Government. The Asset Manager ensures that ADPE hardware and software are properly received in an ITSM approved database, documented in accordance with Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements, stored, and disbursed to the required user to maintain good supply and accountability of ADPE. Duties include but are not limited to:Recommending and supporting the development and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirementRecommending and supporting the development and maintenance of, and update approved policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management (acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal) of IT assetsCoordinating shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers. Analyzing inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, which shall ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.Reporting on inventory levels to efficiently utilize capital investment while maintaining adequate coverage for known/projected demandAdvising and supporting accountability over assigned products; determine appropriate distribution based on lead times and demandEnsuring property is uniquely identified and changes are tracked and recorded in accordance with PPM requirements. Ensure property is uniquely identified and changes are tracked and recordedInspecting goods and materials and assess the condition of assets for distribution/recyclingCoordinating the disposal of property, supplies, and materiel in compliance with Government and service regulations/guidelines and documentation requirementsMaintaining records of acquisition/distribution of property, supplies, and materials by utilizing applicable processesProcessing excess ADPE as identified by the Government using DoD proceduresAiding with completing quarterly and annual inventoriesRecommending metrics, gathering data, and reporting on the effectiveness of the IT asset management processesTrack licenses, maintenance plans, renewal information, and media for licensed software purchased by or allocated to the assigned commandPerform periodic software license audits, reconciling the number of licenses utilized to the number as directed by the GovernmentRecommend mitigations to these issues to the Software Manager when software license reconciliation issues arise Required Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years with AS/AA; 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA11 years of relevant experience with HS will be considered in lieu of formal education to meet TESA requirementsDoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this roleITIL Foundations of higher level ITIL certificationExperience in an IT and asset management positionDesired Qualification:Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise LicensingPrior experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization SITEC2025Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
