Head of Inside Sales & Customer Operations – Consumer Products
We’re supporting a leading distributor in the CPG industry in their search for a Head of Inside Sales & Customer Operations. This is a commercially focused role, leading a 20-person inside sales and customer service team to drive B2B sales, optimize processes, and enhance customer engagement.
The Opportunity:
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing inside sales team, ensuring global B2B customer engagement (customers will be local and independent retailers across Europe)
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer relationship management, order execution, and sales analysis.
• Monitor sales KPIs, stock rotation, and cash flow to optimize commercial performance.
• Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and external partners to ensure seamless sales operations.
• Identify process improvements, implement new tools, and enhance team efficiency.
• Play a key role in national and international trade fairs and industry events.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven inside sales leadership experience, ideally in an export, distribution, or fast-moving consumer goods environment.
• Commercial and operational mindset, comfortable managing sales pipelines and forecasting.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ sales and customer service team members.
• Fluency in German & English (essential)
Location: Ratingen, Germany (4/5 days per week in the office with flexible working hours)
Salary is C€80,000 plus a company car, bonus and additional benefits.
