Linde GmbH, Gases Division Business Development Manager - Region Europe East (m/f/d) Pullach or any major Region Europe East location | req22022 What you will enjoy doing You will lead business development activities in REE - this is a key management role in identifying, driving, growing and extending Linde’s business You will focus on Onsite (Tonnage and ECOVAR) investments in HYCO (including Grey, Blue or Green H2), Airgases, CO2, as well as prolongations and extensions of existing supply schemes Further, you will be defining the technical and commercial Product and Service Offering (PSO) for new project opportunities and existing accounts In addition, you will lead the projects of the assigned area starting from the Gate 1 throughout the project approval by the Linde IC/Board as part of the Gate 4, all in accordance with Linde's mandated work processes (i.e. Appraise, Design, Propose, Close and Commercialize) Collaborating with the key stakeholders of the business i.e. the regional senior management, the gas customers, the suppliers of feedstock/utilities/land, Linde Engineering and all the Linde Gas’ internal functions, e.g. bulk, project execution, operation, legal departments, financial departments in the assigned area and at the corporate Lastly, you will critically assessing Linde’s competitiveness and driving improvements of Linde’s Onsite PSO (e.g. reliability, availability and costs (CAPEX & OPEX) of plants) What makes you great You have a academic background, e.g. university degree in sciences, technologies, process industries or business management Minimum 8 years experience in the position of Business Development Manager for investment projects or equivalent function in the industries of industrial gases, oil & gas, steel, petrochemical and chemicals, with several successful references in leading investment projects including projects with significant capex As a project or line manager, you will be leading multi-cultural and inter-disciplinary teams in the industries of industrial gases, oil & gas, steel, petrochemical and chemical Commercial acumen, contract management and negotiations experience as well as track-record of successful, long-term relationship building with customers You have professional English skills (written, read, speaking), further language skills may be a bonus Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, deliver great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
