We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team, specializing in Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) in Generic Pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong understanding of the value chain integration across the pharmaceutical industry, capable of working seamlessly with virtual supply teams and cross-functional departments. You will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring the smooth coordination of supply chain activities, from production to market delivery.
Your tasks:
Client Relationship Management:
1. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring strong relationships with key clients in the generic pharmaceuticals market.
2. Understand client needs and align internal resources to exceed expectations.
Sales Strategy:
3. Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow and secure business.
4. Lead negotiations and manage contracts, pricing, and terms for profitability.
Value Chain Integration & Virtual Supply Chain Collaboration:
5. Ensure seamless integration across the pharmaceutical value chain, including regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
6. Collaborate with virtual supply teams to ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery.
Cross-Functional Teamwork & Project Management:
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely execution.
8. Lead project initiatives, managing milestones and overcoming potential roadblocks.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
9. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
10. Provide clients with insights to maintain competitiveness in the market.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
11. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EMA) in collaboration with regulatory teams.
12. Address compliance issues and work with quality assurance to ensure product integrity.
Your profile:
Key Qualifications:
13. You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or a related field and bring more than five years of experience in account management within the generic pharmaceuticals industry, with a focus on Finished Dosage Forms (FDF).
14. Managing large accounts and consistently achieving sales targets relates to your daily business.
15. You offer a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain. Within that you are able to navigate interfaces between production, supply chain, regulatory and commercial functions.
16. Working with virtual supply teams across various geographies and time zones is something you already experienced in your working life.
17. To bring the functions together you show excellent communication-, negotiation-, and leadership skills. Working in a team-oriented environments is a matter of course for you.
18. Be proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
19. You demonstrate knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements and market dynamics in the generic drug industry.
