Responsibilities
:
1. Accountable to program sponsors for driving scope definition, schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements; escalates decisions to program sponsors as necessary.
2. Leads the program planning process, tools and schedule development.
3. Reviews/approves program plans for conformance to program strategy and schedule.
4. Acts as the communications conduit to sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates. Prepares program status, program risk analyses, and Voice of Customer (VOC) collection with a goal to drive issues to closure and assure achievement of program goals and KPIs.
5. Directs and coordinates resources throughout respective company functions and conducts regular program reviews to make sure that program development and key performance indicators stay on track.
6. Assures that the program achieves the cost, quality, performance, production rate, and yield metrics defined during the proposal stages.
7. Leads program through all stages from idea to commercial execution.
8. Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
9. Collaborates cross-functionally to establish performance, schedule, cost and quality objectives for internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
10. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field desired preferred; PMI/PMP certification preferred.
11. A minimum of 5+ years of experience developing system level products, which include hardware, firmware and software in a fully integrated system.
12. Demonstrated experience in leading aggressive and results-driven brand management and product planning strategies utilizing VOC to identify growth opportunities for the company.
13. Proven experience in developing long-range strategic goals with the ability to establish competitive strategy based on market intelligence, financials, and technology drivers.
14. Demonstrated experience managing ISO-9000 compliant projects (or equivalent)
15. Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment including leadership of geographically dispersed, cross-functional development teams
16. Basic understanding of hardware and software development processes, electronics manufacturing, and materials procurement
17. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
18. Proven experience in risk management and change management
