The Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Solutions is responsible for leading MRO Services Procurement, optimizing Supply Chain repair processes, and ensuring the effective operational execution of customer contracts in the aviation MRO sector. Reporting to the Managing Directors, this role requires extensive experience in procurement, supply chain, and MRO operations, along with a strong innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiencies.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
* Lead high-level contract negotiations with MRO service providers, aligning with company goals and financial targets. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, while continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance procurement processes
* Oversee repair processes, ensuring cost-effective outsourcing and efficient material flow
* Ensure the seamless operational execution of customer contracts, from quoting to delivery. Manage the implementation and performance of contracts, focusing on achieving KPIs and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Manage budgets and KPIs, providing regular reports to the Managing Directors and collaborating with senior management colleagues to drive financial and operational improvements
* Collaborate with senior leaders and teams across the organization to align with corporate strategy and drive business success
* Foster an environment of cross-functional cooperation to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex challenges
Your Qualifications
* Master ’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field ( Master’s or certifications such as APICS, Six Sigma is a plus)
* 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management in the aviation MRO industry, with senior management leadership experience
* Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and financial oversight
* Proven leadership background in Airline MRO or an MRO organization is a must
* Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
* Demonstrated expertise in contract management, negotiation, and financial acumen
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Excellent analytical skills, proficient in ERP systems and relevant procurement tools
* Deep understanding of aviation industry regulations and compliance standards
* Willingness to travel
