Configuration Management Competence Area Manager Location: Darmstadt, Germany Type: Hybrid Our client, European leader in Satellite and Space Technology, is seeking an experienced Configuration Management (CM) Lead to oversee a highly complex satellite and ground segment infrastructure. This role is central to maintaining robust configuration control and change management processes, supporting multiple technical departments and ensuring mission-critical infrastructure is efficiently managed. Key Responsibilities: Manage the CM Competence Area : Ensure continuous availability of resources, expertise, and tools to meet CM needs across the organisation. Define and Improve CM Processes : Establish, implement, and enhance CM policies, processes, and best practices in line with organisational goals and international standards. Deliver CM Support : Provide CM services to technical departments, generating regular Configuration Status Reports and metrics for programs and operational systems. Support Change Control Boards with high-performance CM service. Lead Configuration Audits : Conduct audits with contractors on new developments, ensuring compliance with CM standards and requirements. Facilitate CM Training : Organise and conduct training sessions to raise awareness and understanding of CM across the organisation.
