About the role As Document Manager you will lead the Document Management and Document Control function and be responsible to handle all the document flow within the company and its projects using company systems. In your role you will: Manage and process internal and external information and documents using the company's EDMS, Sharepoint and Dataroom systems Develop and set up the document management plan for interface with the EPCM contractor and vendors, including interface with their EDMS systems Ensure the security, accessibility and proper distribution of documents Administration, including coordination of EDMS maintenance in conjunction with external service providers Monitor and report on deliverables progress and ensure that documents comply with regulatory, organizational and project standards Prepare regular reporting for management (e.g. status report on deliverables) Train company and project members (internal and external) on document management procedures and use of the EDMS Proactively lead the further development of the existing document management system and processes What do you need to bring along? Completed technical or commercial university degree or comparable training with several years of experience as Document Manager/Controller in Engineering projects, role as lead Document Manager/Controller would be an advantage Proven experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), e.g. SOBIS-PIRS Knowledge of document control processes and systems on projects and knowledge of the interface management with vendors Knowledge of engineering documents and approval processes within projects Fluency in German and English Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail Open-mindedness, flexibility and the initiative to work in a hands-on approach to complete challenging objectives Why us?
