Our Finance Governance & Controls Team is dedicated to architecting, deploying, and sustaining robust frameworks for Business Process Management, Internal Control Systems, and KPI/KRI Reporting within Financial Accounting & Controlling (FA&C).
We empower FA&C Teams by ensuring stability and quality in critical FA&C processes, while also facilitating impactful change initiatives aligned with DBG's strategic objectives. Our mandate encompasses the vigilant monitoring, precise measurement, and insightful feedback on End-to-End processes, ensuring stringent compliance with the Internal Control System.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager to join our ranks and lead the successful execution of finance-related projects.
Your responsibilities:
1. IT Change Management: Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of IT changes within the CFO area, ensuring alignment with business objectives and addressing weaknesses
2. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate collaboration between Corporate IT and CFO stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
3. Continuous Improvement: Implement and enhance the change management framework, incorporating feedback and best practices for ongoing optimization
4. Financial Governance: Develop detailed budget plans, establish financial governance processes, and conduct quarterly budget reviews
5. Project Leadership: Lead and manage finance projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining compliance with regulations
Your profile:
6. Educational Background: University degree in Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent professional qualification
7. Professional Experience: Over 3 years of experience in a comparable position or in consulting
8. Core Competencies: Financial Acumen and Compliance: Strong understanding of financial processes, regulations and compliance requirements Project Management Proficiency: Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and methodologies (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus) Organizational and Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving abilities Communication Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in spoken and written English (knowledge of German is an advantage)
