Intro GFIC is searching for an international Food Ingredients Company the Global Category Manager Food Colours m/f/d Location Italy, Spain or US office based Tasks Purpose: To be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of these Food Ingredients categorie to maximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of the duties. The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth. Knowledge: Proven experience as category manager in Colours Food Ingredients Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods Full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Responsibilities : To analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends in these ingredients To provide clients with customer focussed insights regarding the product and category To develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products To foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services To support appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands To determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility To liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category To collaborate with the sales team to expand product categories To make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory To assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category.
