Tasks As a Growth Product Manager focusing on Usage-Based Monetization at Statista, you’ll lead the strategy, development, and execution of our usage-based pricing models and related product services, influencing growth at the intersection of AI-driven innovation and customer-centric solutions. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of rethinking how we monetize data, aligning with customer needs on-platform and API-based off-platform. Developing flexible, scalable pricing models that address both platform and API use cases. Collaborating with engineering, finance, and product teams to align technical solutions with growth and revenue goals. Analyzing user data and engaging with customers to refine pricing models for optimal revenue impact. Leading experiments on pricing elasticity, user segmentation, and model optimization. Reporting on monetization metrics and influencing company-wide objectives through data-driven insights. Requirements You are an experienced, data-driven product leader passionate about advancing monetization in a mission-driven environment. With a track record in optimizing usage-based models, you're equipped to navigate a fast-paced setting and a partially outdated tech stack to drive immediate and long-term impact. 5 years in product management or growth roles, ideally within API-driven SaaS environments. Proven success in developing, testing, and refining usage-based pricing models. Strong data analysis skills, with experience handling large datasets to shape pricing strategies. Advanced SQL knowledge and familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel ) and A/B testing frameworks. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around data-driven insights. Technical assessment will be conducted during the hiring process. The team You’ll be joining the newly established Growth team at Statista, reporting directly to our VP of Marketing & Growth. The team is comprised of product, engineering, finance, and marketing experts dedicated to reshaping our growth strategy. As a central figure in driving revenue and innovation, you will collaborate closely with these departments to introduce and iterate on pricing models that meet evolving customer needs and contribute directly to Statista’s overall mission.
