How you support our team
You will be responsible for building and developing Satisfyer’s nationwide store network in Germany, as well as strategically planning and executing our expansion strategy. Your goal is to successfully establish and continuously grow our brand in the brick-and-mortar retail sector. From identifying suitable locations and managing store openings to optimizing existing processes, you will actively shape the success of our retail operations.
Your Responsibilities in Detail:
* Expansion Strategy and Network Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive expansion strategy for Germany, identifying and evaluating potential locations.
* Store Openings: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of store openings, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
* People Management: Recruit, onboard, and coach Store Managers while fostering team development.
* Retail Management: Oversee, manage, and optimize all stores, analyzing performance through key KPIs.
* Financial Responsibility: Plan, monitor, and optimize financial metrics, including budget management and cost control.
* Project Management: Lead strategic projects, such as introducing technologies (e.g. POS – system) and setting up operational processes in collaboration with other departments.
* Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management, including project status, KPI analyses, and actionable recommendations.
By combining strategic thinking with operational expertise, your work will lay the foundation for the successful market entry and sustainable growth of our retail division.
What sets you apart
* Proven experience of at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within retail, with a strong track record in managing operational processes.
* Extensive experience in establishing and managing at least 10 stores at the national level.
* The ability to lead distributed Store Managers remotely, both disciplinarily and professionally.
* A high level of travel readiness, especially at the start, to ensure smooth operations during store setup.
* Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, paired with a hands-on mentality.
* Solid understanding of financial principles, including P&L analysis and effective budget management.
* Excellent German and English language skills.
