Job Title : Relocation Readiness Assistant Location : ACS Smith Barracks, Building 8666, Baumholder, Germany Job Type : Full Time Schedule : 0900 to 1430, Monday through Friday. 34 hours per week Qualifications: Education : Associate degree or equivalent education required H igh school diploma with three (3) years of customer service experience may substitute for formal education. Experience : One (1) year of information & referral or customer service experience T hree (3) years of customer service experience may substitute for education. DoD ID Card : Must be a DoD ID card holder. Background Check : Must be able to obtain the required background checks within 30 days of contract award. Language : Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing) sufficient for clear communication with colleagues, supervisors, and clients. Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel). Strong automation skills, including word processing. Communication Skills : Ability to present information both orally and in written format. Customer Service : Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle various client needs in a busy environment. Organizational Skills : Excellent time management and records management skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Relocation Assistance : Provide a full range of ongoing and specialized relocation services, information, and assistance to incoming and outgoing members of USAG Rheinland -Pfalz. Manage Lending Closet : Oversee and manage the ACS Smith Barracks Lending Closet, including preparing requests, issuing/receiving items, and organizing according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Committee Support : Provide support for the Relocation Assistance Coordination Committee (RACC). Administrative Support : Maintain and update community and local resource information. Handle record-keeping, filing, and office automation tasks (e.g., copier, scanner, fax). Ensure ACS information and flyers are current and properly displayed. Support in-processing and out-processing of military members and their families. Follow up with customers and refer them to relevant programs.
