Testing Technician
• Prepare the testing: Following the weekly work schedule, he/she chooses the next product from production table to testing and opens the work in SAP.
• Pick and issue material for testing: Following the information on the Production Order coming from SAP, he/she is in charge of collecting all the material needed for testing (depending on testing module, this can be: control panel, electrification material or signalisation). After collecting the material, he/she is also in charge of checking the material and possible faults.
• Execute the testing: Before starting, he/she install the control panel with all necessary testing equipment, attaches all needed electrification material ordered into the panel as well as sets all necessary parameters for control panel. While doing the testing, he/she makes several different testing runs assuring that all components are functioning and have correct parameters within.
• Finalize the testing: After successful testing, all components are put back to their boxes and delivered to the packing. Possible faults are reported and the testing in completed by confirming the work in SAP.
• Rework: In case faults are found during the testing process the problem is corrected in testing or returned to assembly line for repair.
Machine Operator (punching and/or bending machine)
• Prepare the production: Following the weekly work schedule, he/she chooses the next piece for production and calls the correct (punching or bending) program from server into the machine (Salvagnini automated line, Finnpower punching machine).
• Pick and issue material for production: Following the information on the Production Order, he/she is in charge of collecting all the material needed for production. In case of standard production, the material pick up will be done automatically from the storage, but in the case of non standard production, he/she is in charge of picking up the material manually and loading it into the machine.
• Execute and control the production: He/She is in charge of conducting the punching or bending operation according to the daily schedule communicated by the Production Supervisor, controlling the production flow, assuring components’ quality and fix any minor faults that may occur.
• Finalize the production: After production, he/she is in charge of unloading the machine, marking the material and storing it either automatically or manually into the storage and in some cases delivering it further to other following machined operations (welding). After having completed his/her tasks, he/she is in charge of confirming the work done using SAP.
Welding Technician
• Prepare the welding: Following the weekly work schedule, he/she chooses the next piece for welding and finds the correct production drawing.
• Issue material for the welding: Following the information on the production order, he/she makes sure that all the material needed for welding are in place. According to the production drawing, he/she is in charge of marking the points of weld joints.
• Execute the welding: After preparation, he/she is in charge of welding the components according to the production drawings and daily schedule communicated by the Production Supervisor. He/she may do first a light welding round and thereafter the final welding. He/she may also use spot welding machine or saw if required for production.
• Finalize the components: After welding, he/she is in charge of finalizing the components by cleaning them for painting. Thereafter, he/she sends the components for painting or storage and confirms the work done using SAP.
Manual Bending Technician
• Prepare the manual bending: Following the weekly work schedule, he/she chooses the next piece for production and finds the correct production drawing. He/she is in charge of conducting a bending blue print with a program used and loading correct settings to the manual bending machine.
• Pick and issue material for manual bending: Following the information on the production order, he/she is in charge of collecting all the material needed for production. In case of standard production, the material pick up will be done automatically from the storage, but in the case of non standard production, he/she is in charge of picking up the material manually. After unloading the material from the palette, he/she sends the palette back to the storage.
• Execute the manual bending: He/She is in charge of bending the material according to the bending blue print made and daily schedule communicated by the Production Supervisor. After bending the material, he/she makes sure the bended piece follows the guidelines given in the production drawing and remove any relicts occurred during the production.
• Store and mark the components: After production, he/she is in charge of marking the components, confirming the work done using SAP and storing them manually into the storage
