Job Description
Due to the continued success and expansion of our European business we currently have opportunities in FRANKFURT and want to talk with MEP Professionals.
* Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems to ensure they meet project specifications, codes, and standards.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
* Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
* Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes, manage project budgets, and control costs within financial limits.
* Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
* Review, correct and assess work-in-place, to approve capital expenditure spends.
* Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure a clear understanding of MEP requirements and project timelines.
* Run and lead client and other required meetings.
* Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
* Review requests for payment.
* Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.
* Record occurrence that might result in a claim - acting on the client’s behalf.
* Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.
Qualifications
* University degree in Construction Management or a related field.
* several years experience as a MEP Project Manager for major construction projects; experiences in Data Centre Construction projects preferred.
* Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
* Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.
* Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
* Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity and dynamism.
* Fluent English language skills as well as min. B2 German language level required.
