The role reports to the CIO / Deputy-CIO. Principal Enterprise Architect and IT Service Manager is responsible for: Information Domain: Steer maintenance of Information Domain of AZ Direct (Modelling of Processes, Applications, Infrastructure and Vendors) and manage newly required IT Estate as part of M&A Activities. Manage respective update cycles in respective tools (ADOIT, ADONIS, ServiceNow) including management of significant lifecycle events Technology Roadmap: Provide guidance on technology and investment decisions and technical guidance to the development team influencing system design and promoting architectural best practice IT Service Continuity Management: Manage and steer Provider Management Reviews including Service Availability of Business Applications, ensure adequate Disaster Recovery setup and monitor incident resolution and reporting processes (incl. DORA Incidents) Reporting and Group Alignment: Prepare and steer the quarterly IT Steering Board (ITSB) along the requirements from Allianz SE and AZ Direct CIO. Manage related Architecture KPIs, including Agreed Exception Process Qualifications/Key skills: Experience in multinational environments, with a strong understanding of information technologies, technology markets, IT management and IT governance processes Strong analytics skills, including tackling unstructured problems, developing solution approaches, and methods, with a proven ability to learn rapidly. Practical expertise in defining IT architecture governance in multinational enterprises, along with strong professional background in IT leadership or management exposure in application engineering or operations. IT Architect certification(s) such as TOGAF, Service Management certification(s) like ITIL/ITSM or experience in managing Allianz Mastertool-Universe (ADOIT, ServiceNow, Archer, ADONIS) are a plus. Fluency in English (written and spoken), conversational German is a plus.
