Make an impact
1. Application selection: Guide decision making process for business application selection and validation, managing all relevant stakeholders on the Swisslog business side as well as from the KUKA IT department
2. Software Rollout: Lead the rollout of major software applications like Salesforce, Customer Service Cloud or SAP S4HANA, ensuring optimized global business processes.
3. Resource Management for IT Development and Maintenance: Manage internal and external resources, including contractors and involved corporate KUKA IT resources.
4. Matrix approach: Balance responsibilities and priorities between business application owners (requirements and application selection) and IT (customization, execution, and support).
5. Configuration Management: Manage application configurations and ensure process quality.
6. Strategic Resource Allocation: Analyze and decide on resource allocation for business applications, considering their unique integration and divisional ecosystem needs like Swisslog`s business application Planisware (capacity management).
7. Team Management: Lead a development group and a product management group (business application owners). Manage IT resources, including budget, personnel and technology assets, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in close cooperation within the overall global IT set-up.

What you need to succeed
8. Educational Background: University degree like Computer Engineering, Informatic Sciences, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA or comparable.
9. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in managing teams for key internal platforms, especially enterprise applications in heavy project environments.
10. Knowledge of intralogistics industry is a plus
11. Commercial and Business Acumen
12. Leadership Skills: Solid leadership abilities, experience working in a matrix organization, and managing multicultural teams across the globe.
13. Efficiency and Project Management Skills: ITIL Certificate or similar is a must; PMI certificate is beneficial.
14. Language Skills: A high proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages (e.g., German) is beneficial.
15. Travel: Willingness to travel regularly, including international trips.
