Your mission
* You define and create specifications for products, product groups and platforms in the area of Virtual Network Functions (VNF) and Software Defined Networks (SDN)
* You will work closely with our product management and customers to understand and integrate their requirements
* You are responsible for the entire life cycle of Linux-based SDN solutions, from conception to development and operation
* You analyze typical use cases from the customer’s or user’s perspective in order to optimally adapt the products
* In consultation with internal and external customers, you select the appropriate components for the SDN solutions
* You will also install and test the developed SDN products to ensure their performance and reliability
Your profile
* You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or communications engineering or a corresponding apprenticeship
* With general knowledge of network technology and telecommunications, including protocol and procedures, you have important prerequisites
* You have already gained experience in network management, SDN and Linux
* You have actively used and further developed virtualization technologies
* You are proficient in both written and spoken German and English
* Personally, you are characterized by your ability to work in a team, high willingness to learn and creativity
