YOU ACT
As a member of the project core team, the Engineering Manager:
1. Assumes accountability for project engineering costs, time, and quality
2. Analyzes contracts to identify project-specific (local, customer) deviations from our established standards
3. Holds responsibility for planning, monitoring, and managing interfaces among different product teams and plant engineering disciplines
4. Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding all engineering-related matters
5. Organizes and leads both internal and external engineering reviews (2D & 3D)
6. Manages engineering deviations and changes
7. Assumes ownership of the engineering phase within the integrated project schedule, collaborating with technical managers and the technical system manager, supported by the project scheduler
8. Plans, monitors, and controls deliverable-based engineering efforts
YOU KNOW
You have earned your degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering oder you have a similar education. Furthermore this is important to us:
9. Minimum of 5 - 7 years professional experience after your studies or education as an engineering manager in significant plant engineering projects
10. Profound knowledge of metallurgical plant engineering
11. Demonstrated assertiveness, effective communication, and a strong sense of responsibility
12. Keen awareness of pricing and cost considerations
13. High level of resilience and a collaborative mindset (teamwork)
14. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German
15. Openness to international travel
