Your mission Complex software/hardware testing Test set-up/troubleshooting, testing of customer's own/internal hardware/software Perform validation and certification tests in production or at customer site in the field Preparation and updating of bills of materials, wiring diagrams, drawings, electrical schematics Test plans, training material, preparation of O&M manuals and documentation for the customer Conduct electrical and mechanical design reviews to resolve technical, mechanical and programming issues Preparation of product specifications, software and application literature for projects/systems Supporting production in the event of technical problems and defining corrective actions Assist with certification or TÜV audits and product compliance Systems based competitive analysis Simulation and modelling Leading complex design reviews, both internally and at customer sites Liaising with customers, sales staff, suppliers, project/programme managers and field staff Your profile Ideally you will have the following skills and experience: Degree in engineering Knowledge of wind turbine drives, ideally based on experience with a drive manufacturer or wind turbine manufacturer (Vestas / GE / SRGE, Enercon or similar) Competent complex problem solving/troubleshooting skills for both components and subsystems Extensive knowledge of converter technology and applications in the wind industry Ability to evaluate all components of a complex system and provide solutions Knowledge of international standards and design codes Effective written and oral communication skills, including presentations and critical reports Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English (C1) Why us?
