Location: Wurzen, Saxony, Germany.Reporting to the Business Line Manager, the Field service engineer is responsible to provide on-site technical support and services for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.In your role as a Field Service Engineer, you will ensure a safe working environment by ensuring that all Nikkiso Cryotec safety procedures are followed.You will advise customer representatives and contractors on the correct design of equipment, pre-commissioning and commissioning of various equipment.You understand and demonstrate knowledge in reading printed material, datasheets and product designs; liaise between the field and Cryotec engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues as required.You will troubleshoot and resolve issues by identifying, defining, analyzing and then making informed and timely decisions in collaboration with the customer, Cryotec project management and engineering.You communicate effectively in written and spoken English and maintain free and open communication.You will prepare travel reports detailing the scope of all work undertaken.You will also be willing to travel domestically and internationally to other Nikkiso locations or to our customers. After successfully completing your technical degree, you were able to gain several years of experience in the following areas: Air separation, natural gas liquefaction or similar complex process control operations.You have very good knowledge in the following areas: Instrumentation and control, general maintenance of industrial plants, Compressors and compressor maintenance.You have several years of experience in the installation and maintenance of turboexpanders and compressors.You also have knowledge of the mechanical maintenance of industrial plants, industrial electrics, industrial heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning (HVAC).You can read technical/electrical drawings and design specifications, as well as manufacturer''s drawings.You are familiar with the interpretation of documents such as safety regulations, safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.You work independently, are goal-oriented and coordinated.
