Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring installation packages of worldwide installation projects are in line with requirements and quality standards.
* Control calculations and assumptions from bid and ensure realistic field service practices.
* Adjust FMEA for the specific project and participate in design reviews.
* Provide feedback to the dispatch department on any disruptions that may occur.
* Assist with all technical and organizational site issues.
* Improve equipment designs and mitigate any risks that may arise during installation and commissioning.
Your Profile
* Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable. Several years of experience in the assembly, assembly supervision and/or commissioning of power plant components, ideally in the field of hydropower, are a must.
* Experience in quality and risk management as well as in dealing with assembly personnel and assembly equipment is a plus.
* An open-minded nature and a confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers and other project participants as well as a high sense of responsibility.
* Very good English is required for this position. Further foreign language knowledge such as German, Portuguese and/or Spanish are an advantage.
* Willingness to travel worldwide on business (approx. 20 - 30 %) and short construction site assignments.
