Quality Engineer The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer?s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE?s business needs. ? Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due customer (internal-external) complaints. ? Define, design, develop and Implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures. ? Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system. ? Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP. ? Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions. ? Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements. ? Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission. ? Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas. ? Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasure. ? Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools. SKILLS: ? EXPERIENCE: Essential: ? Experience in Electronics Industry Preferable ? Experience in Automotive Industry and/or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), ? Bachelor's degree (Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering) Preferable ? Six Sigma Certification preferable ? 3 years? experience in manufacturing is preferred. ? 3 years in quality system maintenance ? English 85% ? LEAN Manufacturing tools ? Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office ?Excel-,etc)
