Job Description
Tasks –
1. Requirements Capture and Management:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, define, and manage system-level requirements.
* Translate high-level customer requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
* Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and verification activities.
1. System Design and Integration:
* Support the design and development of EWIS systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FAA/EASA, ARP4754, ARP4761, AS50881, and AC43.13-1B).
* Perform trade studies, system modelling, and risk assessments.
* Assist with the integration of EWIS systems into larger aircraft systems.
1. Requirements Management Tools:
* Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management, tracking, and reporting.
* Ensure proper configuration management and baselining of requirements documentation
1. Verification and Validation:
* Develop test cases and verification plans to ensure requirements compliance.
* Support testing activities and analyze test results for verification of EWIS requirements.
1. Stakeholder Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, certification, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure alignment of requirements with project objectives.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
1. Experience:
* 3+ years of experience working with Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems in the aerospace industry.
* Proven expertise in requirements capture, analysis, and management.
1. Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of regulatory standards related to EWIS (e.g., FAA/EASA, ARP4754, ARP4761, AS50881, and AC43.13-1B).
* Proficiency with IBM DOORS (or similar requirements management tools).
* Familiarity with systems engineering principles (e.g., MBSE, SysML).
