Black Utilities Engineer - Frankfurt - 12 Months
Our client, one of the Germany’s largest pharmaceutical organisations is responsible for developing and manufacturing medicines, consumer products and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines. They have been responsible for the development of several key and revolutionary products and have a presence in the USA, EU and Asia-Pacific.
With continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme, they are currently seeking the expertise of Black Utilities Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility for development, coordination, follow up of all technical matters related to the black utilities and fire protection system
2. Ensuring the design, construction, commissioning to agreed cost, timing and quality, in respect of standards.
3. Coordination and supervision of engineering office and contractors for the BU packages.
4. Definition, development, analysis and approval of specific technical requirements for BU in the project.
5. Approval, follow up of commissioning activities and signing of commissioning protocols.
6. Ensuring systems legal conformity.
7. Participation on FAT and SAT of machines.
8. Participation to the Hazops of all black systems.
9. The automation of the black utilities is also part of the scope.
Experience/Background:
10. Experience within a highly regulated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment
11. Full lifecycle experience on the delivery of Utilities projects (equipment listed above).
12. Previous experience of project lifecycle activities to include generating URS’s, undertaking design reviews, PID’s and support on the composition of business cases.
13. A focus on Technical activities and Compliance/Validation.
14. Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
15. Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organising and planning skills.
16. Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, local vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.
17. Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
18. Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
19. Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
