We are looking for a PAS Lead Engineer, to join our team As member of the Project Management team on a Project you will be responsible for owning the delivery of a portfolio of projects, using the Emerson Process Management global resources and standards and coordinate in detail the project team. In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be: - Supports the relevant Project Lead or Project Manager in understanding, handling and achieving each customer's expectations and with respect to the management of the other parties - product vendors, sub-contractors, other Emerson teams and third parties undertaking work on behalf of a customer. - Takes ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated work and proactively apply methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard - Supports the development of a realistic and achievable project schedule and provide them with all vital information to make sure that they are fully advised of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk. - First point of contact for all technical communication with the customer for the assigned work and ensures that all team members allocated to the Lead Engineer, inclusive of any third parties, are provided with all necessary and relevant information. - Supports the procurement list, including detailed specifications for any sub-contracted works and services where relevant, along with required delivery dates. - Fully understands the scope of work for all allocated engineering and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the Project Lead or Manager is fully advised, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer-initiated changes in scope. - Verify that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company's quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved - always adheres to company's and customer HSEQ standards. - Supports in the creation of an inclusive and encouraging environment for all personnel within the project team and actively support team members in achieving any personal development objectives that may have been set for the project. - Actively contributes to any assigned bid activities to ensure that the customer's requirements are fully understood, and that innovative and cost-efficient solutions are proposed. - Acquires, maintains, and actively shares knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization. Who You Are: You are a self-motivated, ambitious, and strong leader, passionate about making an impact that always acts with integrity. You continuously push yourself to achieve together with your project team new goals and are not afraid to question the status quo by proposing creative solutions to problems. For This Role, You Will Need: - State-certified technician completed vocational training eg. electronics technician for automation technology or comparable trainings. - At least 5 years of relevant confirmed experience with a proven record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects. - Ability to work independently and within defined timelines. - Extensive experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations. - Valid driving license for cars. - Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written). - Willingness to travel as needed.
