Job Description As a development engineer you will drive and control innovative technology developments for complex micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for inertial sensors and new business fields. Your responsibilities include the implementation of development goals as part of a team of specialists. At the core, you will develop wafer processes and equipment for high volume manufacturing of micromechanical products (conceptual and in clean room). Moreover, you will utilize new semiconductor technologies, materials and equipment and perform both technical and economic evaluation of the feasibility of new processes. Coordination of internal interfaces in development and manufacturing to develop new solutions and control their implementation from pre-development until product development will be in your area of responsibility. Last but not least you will cooperate with research institutes on basic development and supplier on tool developments and manage quality assessments and process releases.
